[edit] Trivia and Easter Eggs

  • The game featured 27 real NASCAR Winston (Now NEXTEL) Cup drivers and 16 real NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Drivers.
  • Drivers Dave Blaney and Hermie Sadler are present in this game even though rival title NASCAR Thunder did not feature them.
  • The following real life drivers are absent in the game, in order of car #:
  • Cup Series

  • The seasons in the Truck and Cup series are significantly shorter than the real schedule. Many tracks such as Pocono Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, The Milwaukee Mile, and Chicagoland Speedway could not be licensed by Infogrames.
  • Richard Petty is the only unlockable driver.
  • Kansas Speedway is not on the Cup Series schedule in Season Mode.
  • There is a glitch in the game that allows you to drive the #181 car in Season Mode. Another glitch with the Create-A-Car allows you to have a custom pit box, provided that your car number is 151.
  • Hermie Sadler and Rich Bickle run unsponsored on this game. Sadler just has his name on the car.
  • If you look closely at Rich Bickle's pit box, the sponsor will be Dickies. Screenshots of the game confirm that Bickle's sponsor was to be Dickie's
