Dirty Rotten EP/LP (1983) |
Violent Pacification (1984) |
Dirty Rotten EP/LP is the 1983 debut release by the punk band Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. The album has a very gritty sound and is the band's only hardcore punk album without metal influence. It is considered one of the most influential hardcore albums of all time. Originally released as a 7" Dirty Rotten EP (played at 33 RPM) with 22 songs it sold out quickly. It was later re-released as a full album with the same 22 songs titled "Dirty Rotten LP". This album would also be combined with all four songs from their 1984 Violent Pacification EP. The Dirty Rotten LP was re-released yet again in 2003 as the Dirty Rotten CD, with close to 20 bonus tracks.
