IMDb profile |
Dirty Deeds is a 2002 film shot in Australia. It was directed by noted fringe director David Caesar and stars Bryan Brown, Toni Collette, Sam Neill, Sam Worthington and John Goodman.
The story is about late 1960s Sydney underworld and the introduction of electronic one arm bandits (poker machines) offered by the US mafia, "the Yanks." Occasional shocking visuals linked with lighthearted comic elements and delightful use of Australian slang typical of Caesar's earlier work.
Like "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert", the movie showcases Australias outback scenery with panoramic shots of cloudless blue skies over red dirt.
