Dirty Country is a feature-length documentary film that tells the real-life story of Larry Pierce, a small-town factory worker and family man who happens to be a raunchy country music singer. The film documents Larry's forced retirement from his factory job and follows him on several subsequent adventures in the music industry. The film also profiles several living legends of the raunchy music business, including piano virtuoso John Valby/Dr. Dirty, seminal funk singer Blowfly_(artist), and the original party band, Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts. It was directed by Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher, the curators/hosts of the Found Footage Festival. It is the first feature-length production for both of them. The film was produced by Milkhouse Productions.

Dirty Country premiered at South by Southwest Film Festival on March 14, 2007, where it won the Audience Award in the "24 Beats Per Second" category, SXSW's music documentary category. It is currently touring on the Film Festival circuit. The film has not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America.
