DirectLink

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The DirectLink (also known as Link Cable) is device that allows two Sega Saturns to connect to each other so can players can play multiplayer games with more than two persons. To use the device, however, a player would need two televisions and two of the same games.

This idea is the same as in Game Link in Nintendo's Game Boy and would later be used again with Sony's PlayStation, Nintendo's GameCube and Microsoft's Xbox.

Doom and HeXen do not work on European models, however, they have only been confirmed to work on the unofficial brand, Blaze. The game Independence Day incorrectly claims to have this connectivity in its manual.
