Diogo Jorge Moreno Valente or commonly known as Diogo Valente is an International footballer who currently plays for C.S. Marítimo, on loan from FC Porto. He was born in Aveiro, Portugal on September 23rd, 1984.

While Diogo was at Boavista FC he was part of the squad who made it to the UEFA Cup Semi-Finals, ironically he plays for Rivals FC Porto, two teams that both made the semi-finals in the UEFA Cup.
Diogo is known for his fast-paced runs on the wings in which he attracted lots of clubs such as his boy-hood club FC Porto, Manchester City, Newcastle United being the most Famous.
After great showings and skill he decided to play for his boy-hood team FC Porto.

As of July 2006 he signed an undisclosed fee with European giants FC Porto.
But in January he was loaned to C.S. Marítimo.
