Hamar is a former Roman Catholic bishopric and a present Lutheran diocese, both named after its episcopal see, the Norwegian city of Hamar.

In the Church of Norway, the diocese of Hamar covers Oppland and Hedmark. The cathedral city is Hamar, and the new elected bishop is Solveig Fiske.
