[edit] History
After 5 years of wanderlust three bikers settled in Syracuse, NY and established The Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Restaurant. The company has three locations;
Syracuse, NY, Rochester, NY & Harlem, NY
[edit] Recently
The Syracuse restaurant was involved with a food poisoning scare. About 270 people who ate at the Syracuse, New York, restaurant, from November 24-26, 2006 became ill. Local county health officials believed that due to the short incubation period, possible sources of the illnesses included Campylobacter, norovirus, Salmonella and Shigella.[2]
The owner John Stage voluntarily shut down the restaurant from Thursday evening on November 30th through Sunday. Preliminary tests performed by the Onondaga County Health Department ruled out food poisoning or bacteria. The illnesses were finally attributed to an airborne virus and the Syracuse restaurant was reopened on Monday morning, December 4th 2006.[3]
[edit] Products
The Dinosaur BBQ Resturant owners have made a line of products based on their BBQ recipes that are manufactured and distributed throughout the U.S., England, and Australia. The product line includes five main sauces as well as a variety of rubs and dressings.
