The Dinobots were originally a group of Autobot from the original Transformers cartoon series with the alternate modes of mechanical dinosaurs.
In the Beast Machines series a new group of Dinobots lead by T-Wrecks was made, although they never appeared in the TV show.
Other lines of Dinobots have subsequently followed.
