I beileve that this page is rather insulting than informative. Everyone has the right to express his opinion about certain subjects. When you put this in an encyclopedia then you should add also his opinion as is and not refer to what you heard him saying over the television. Additionaly i think there is a copyright issue regarding the photo of his book. Wikipedia should reject this article to protect itself from people who try to promote their personal opinion. I also don't believe him but you should state facts and not comments about his opinions. Congratulations to whomever made the latest modification of the article! It is a lot more "wholesome" than my original version and is now approaching the status of a "professionally made" Wikipedia article! Well done ;)

Still needs a lot of work; renaming to include proper name form (Dimosthenis Liakopoulos), breaking up into paragraphs, inclusion of a proper bio and some more research into his background, rephrasing to avoid biased expressions (see Wikipedia:Neutral point of view), references to relevant Wikipedia articles about televangelists and professional con-men, quotes and specific third party references. For instance, check the articles for Uri Geller and Jerry Falwell. -- Slymole

Well... whoever wrote this page, although trying to be objective, sure gives a feeling he is trying to create a clearly negative impression for mr Liakopoulos. There are some parts that are really exaggerated about the topics he is discussing, for example, someone reading for the first time about Alexander the Great and the "putrid nations" would definitely form a wrong impression for mr. Liako, while in his TV shows he clearly states that he disagrees with much of what is being discussed about these topics. Also, the text gives the reader the impression that mr Liakopoulos is a anti-semite, while at the same time he clearly states it in his TV shows that the Jewish people are NOT to be persecuted for the wrongs commited by the dark side of Zionism.

Hey hey hey ! Father Iosfif Vatopedinos is NOT deceased. He is still alve! ( ok he is maybe 90 yrs old but still *NOT* dead !!! ) Therefore I erased the word dead. About his past in NATO I think we should erase the phrase " He *CLAIMS* to have worked for NATO" because it is true. I have no proof for that but hey EVEN LIAKO WOULD NOT LIE ABOUT THIS ! Every information on Wikipedia has to be verifiable, see Wikipedia:Verifiability. The only thing that can be verified (and that's because he says it on TV) is that he claims so many achievements, not that they are actually true. In fact most of them have been proven to be false. All "facts" about his life should be taken with a grain of salt and should explicitly be mentioned (if they have to be mentioned at all, which I doubt) alongside with a notice that these are only his claims. --Avg 13:48, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Panosfidis I'm very concerned about the amount of pseudo-theories you've put on this page. I know you probably have a laugh with Liakopoulos as all of us do, but still Wikipedia is not a vehicle of promoting Liakopoulos' agenda. At first I thought about completely removing the data you added, but it's better to have input from other users as well. Maybe you are right. Maybe the right thing to do is put them in a separate article like epsilon team and just mention here that these theories exist. I fixed it. Now El and Nefelim are a separate page. I have left only the anti-semite topic. -- panosfidis

Still it needs a bit of work. I believe the topic "his claims" needs to be separated in articles such as "liakopoulos and the russians" "liakopoulos and orthodox faith" "liakopoulos and the prophecies" "liakopoulos and ancient Greece" "Liakopoulos and China" "Liakopoulos and Global Hellenism" with a bit of info about each subject.

• My point is that the article needs to offer *REAL* knowledge about Who is liako and what he does. What I want to say is that anyone who decides more or less to read this page ALREADY KNOWS WHO IS LIAKO. Lets face it it is rather unlikely that a Mexican farmer or an Arabian merchant will visit this page. The page is more likely to be read by a Greek who cares to learn something more about Liako. So the page MUST offer as much as possible. Since Liako in his TV-Show has said : "I give you the right to copy anything from my books and redistribute it, to tape anything from my show and reproject it and I claim no copyright of what I publish or show to you " and since he ORDERS "Have your Videos ready!""Spread knowledge" I think it is totally legal and moral to make a Great Projekt.

Unfortunately, some people use the Wikipedia as a home page for commercial purposes and propaganda, for example this page. Anyone could write an article about such nationalistic nonsense, but not anyone can write a serious article about a representative subject! [Ioanna] 2 November 2006

Well, as far as i know this project concerns the Greek Historical events through the centuries and Dimosthenis Liakopoulos has absolutely nothing to do with it. He's just a book seller with unsound theories. I think we should remove this tag...--KaragouniS 18:07, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Dragonlike 02:24, 2 March 2007 (UTC) I think we should mention about his belief about the lost civilizations on planet Mars. A theory after of years of hard work according to his claims presented at his new books he have until recently broadcasted.
