Dimosthenis Dikoudis (Greek: Δημοσθένης Ντικούδης) is a Greek basketball player.

Dikoudis was born in Larissa on June 24, 1977. In the age of ten he started playing soccer and later he was involved in Taekwondo. After two years of martial art he started playing basketball in his school team. With his school won the city championship, which was his first title and right after that he joined his first club, Perseas Larissas. He played there until 18 and won four city and state championships wiyh his club and a national title as a member of the all state team.

In 1995 he signed his first contract with Olympia Larissas. He played there for three seasons, one at the second division of Greece and two at the A2 division. He was the MVP AND leading rebounder in A2 both seasons. He was also a member of the national team of Greece under 21.

In 1998 he signed a contract with AEK Athens and played there for five seasons. As a member of AEK he won the Saporta cup, the Greek championship and two Greek cups. He was voted rookie of the year for the 1999-2000 season and MVP for the 2001-2002 season. In 2003 he decided to leave Greece and he signed with Pamesa Valencia. He played there for a year and after he moved to CSKA Moscow where he won the Russian championship and the cup (first in the history of the club) and he played at the final four of Euroleague which was held at Moscow and was won by Maccabi Tel-Aviv and another player from Larissa, Nestoras Kommatos (he was co-player with Dimosthenis in Perseas). In 2005 he returned to Pamesa Valencia and played in the finals of the Spanish cup. In the summer of 2006 he returned to Greece and signed with Panathinaikos. At the national team of Greece he made his debut on November 24, 1999 against Estonia. As a member of the national team he played at the European championships of Turkey (2001) and Sweden (2003) and the 2004 Olympic Games of Athens. On September 25, 2005 he got the European championship with the national team.

  • His height is 2.06 m and he weighs 108 kg.
  • He was announced player of the week for the Greek league five times, the two of them consecutive.
  • He was announced player of the week 7 for the Euroleague 2001-2002 against Cibona with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 2 steals.
  • He was announced player of the year for 2002 according to Triponto magazine.
  • He was the first Greek player ever to be announced MVP of the regular season and playoffs for the 2001-2002 season.
  • He prefers spending his free time going to the cinema, dining in a good seafood restaurant (seafood is his favourite meal), going to the football stadium, watching movies and playing with his dog Aris.
