Dime Magazine is an American basketball magazine that has been in circulation since 2002, and is published by Dime Magazine Publishing Company, Inc.

Billed as "The basketball lifestyle magazine," Dime focuses just as much on the lives of NBA, college, high school and playground basketball players off the court as what they do on the court.

[edit] History

The first issue (Winter 2002) had Allen Iverson on the cover, who has appeared on a total of four covers, the most recent in November 2006. Dwyane Wade's first national magazine cover was Dime's Sept/Oct 2005 issue, featuring Wade standing in front of an American flag with the headline "America's Most Wanted." Dime has been praised for its sometimes non-conventional and edgy cover choices, which have included Kenyon Martin, Ricky Davis, AND 1 streetballer Hot Sauce and Latrell Sprewell. The magazine also put high school sensations O.J. Mayo and Tyreke Evans on its cover before either had achieved mass mainstream popularity.
