It was Nasir Hussain's directorial debut , Asha Parekh's debut as a heroine and helped cement Shammi Kapoor's new image of a carefree flirt first potrayed in the same producer director actor combination's earlier film Tumsa Nahin Dekha that gave Shammi his first hit and a new image.
