Dih Yak District

Dih Yak (also transliterated Dehyak is a district in the eastern part of Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, 30 km east from Ghazni. Its population is more than 41,000 (89% Hazara, 11% Pashtun). The district center is Ramak.

The main source of income, agriculture, is seriously affected by the drought. People also trade animals. The high rate of unemployment has led to people leaving the district. Health and education need serious improvement.
