The digononts (Digononta) are a class of rotifers. Digononts are distinguished by the fact that females have paired ovaries (monogononts have just one ovary) and lack a hard lorica. While most digononts live in freshwater or marine habitats, some species are found in moist terrestrial habitats. The class is divided in the orders Bdelloidea and Seisonidae.
