Digidrive is a puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance and is the 7th and final installment of the bit Generations series. Much like the rest of the bit Generations series, this game features simple graphics and controls.
[edit] Gameplay
The object of the game is to propel the disc-shaped core as many meters as possible before the piston collides into the core and ends the game.
The player must direct up to three different varieties of "vehicle," each of a different color, into one of four different lanes. If five of the same vehicle fill up the same lane, a triangle will appear and the lane will change to the same color as the type of vehicle that entered this lane. As the player continues to line up the vehicles, the triangle will fill up and eventually become a square, then a pentagon, then a hexagon, and finally a circle; each shape is larger than the last, making it harder to fill up. If a vehicle is directed into a differently colored lane, the shape will move to the remaining shape(s). If other shapes are not available when a differently colored vehicle enters or if the lane's color fades, the shape will disappear.
If all four lanes are full, an autobahn occurs. During the autobahn, the player must keep directing the vehicles into the appropriate lanes for as long as possible. If a vehicle enters a differently colored lane or the lane's color completely fades, the shape will be used to propel the core at a certain distance and an "ambulance" will be earned (up to three can be stocked).
Ambulances, depicted as a flashing arrow, can either appear randomly or be summoned with the A button. The player can either guide the ambulance to a certain shape and propel the core, or can direct the ambulance to an empty lane. If vehicles are present, they will be redirected to the other end of the lane and will re-enter play.
This game features several hidden audio tracks, color schemes, and other extras if a certain distance is reached or if a certain task is accomplished, such as winning against the computer at a certain difficulty level.
