[edit] Michael Murphy (diver)
DifferentSportsFan, that is fine that Michael Murphy is a family member of yours, but simply stating that "all information is correct" is not sufficient reasoning to remove the verify tag. Please read the guidelines/policies pertaining to reliable sources and verifiability. Statements made in articles need to be based on verifiable information that other editors/and readers can verify. I'm not trying to suggest you are lying about Mr. Murphy, but the reason this needs to be verifiable is that someone else could come along and state they are a family member of Mr. Murphy's and give a completely different account of his life. Without any form of verification to vet information against, it would be completely impossible to determine the truth. Please don't remove the {{verify}} tag unless you have sources you can add to the article that support the information in the article. Verifiability is absolutely a requirment for any information entered into Wikipedia. If you need further info or explaination on this, feel free to leave a message on my talk page.--Isotope23 16:39, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
