[edit] Title

Article title should be "Die by the Sword", not "Die By the Sword". Tempshill 18:11, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More on VSIM

What does VSIM stand for? Isn't it patented? Where can I find it? I know it is based on some mathematical discovery, a method of resolution of a quite complicated system of differential equations, but I can't find anything about it anywhere on the net. Terdargil

The screen that appears prior to the title screen says "patent pending", which does seem to indicate that it is now patented. The game's manual (included as a PDF on the CD) says that VSIM stands for Virtual SIMulation, but I'm not finding anything about mathematical discoveries or differential equations. 172.146.197.119 02:25, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Still patent pending in expansion as well. 70.22.25.34 17:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Determinance

The statement "The unique feature of this game (which is yet to be duplicated in any game since)" may have been overcome by events. See the game "Determinance" at http://www.mode7games.com/. I suppose the deep force model of DbtS isn't there, but I think that we may have a spiritual successor.
