'Diesel Magazine ( Diesel Life Magazine) ' is an independent Urban Publication dedicated to empowering men. It was the brainchild of Juan Diego who saw the need for a magazine to embrace all men regardless of their sexuality. After having success on-line , he decided to publish a print publication.

The initial audience of Diesel Magazine were men who identified as Down Low. As the word spread, Diesel Magazine began to attract heterosexual men who identified with the political, fitness and empowerment content.

Diesel now features articles that focus on dating, fitness, politics, empowerment, sex and spirituality. Diesel Magazine highlights books, cds, and events .The magazine's tagline is " Tight Articles, Quality Connections".

Diesel Magazine is owned by Vida Publishing, the same company that published Down for Life (book) and I'm still Hustlin (book). The print version debuted in January 2007, and is published quarterly. Various political figures, rappers, and film stars have been featured, including Jack Napier, Keiffer Mitchell, Lo-Cal, Kartel and Space Man.
