Diego Souza de Andrade (born June 17, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays for Grêmio.

Diego Souza began playing Club football for Fluminense in the Brazilian League where he quickly impressed and earned a move to Europe. At first many Benfica fans thought that he would not impress but the were soon mistaken when the club put him on a loan deal with Flamengo. As of May 2006, he's back at the Portuguese club. In 2007, he goes on loan to Grêmio.

Diego was part of the winning Brazilian U-21 Side. Diego was first spotted by Benfica helping Brazil to victory at the 2001 South American Under-17 Championship in Peru.
