Diego Bustos

Diego A. Bustos (born March 20, 1971 in Maria Juana, Argentina) is an Argentine senior news anchor for CNN en Espanol and host of "Deportes CNN", the network's daily half-hour primetime sports program, and "Vive el Golf", traveling throughout Latinamerica featuring the best golf courses of the region. Prior to working at CNN he was a news anchor for Telefé in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Bustos has over fifteen years of experience in journalism. He has covered many important sports events worldwide, such as the soccer World Cups in France 1998, Korea/Japan 2002 and Germany 2006. He also reported live from Athens Olympic Games, Copa America Peru 2004 and the Panamerican Games in Winnipeg 1999 and Santo Domingo 2003.
Bustos has interviewed important sports figures such as Diego Maradona, Pelé, FIFA President Joseph Blatter and NBA star Manu Ginobili, among many others. He holds two awards from Argentina's National Television and speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
