Diedre Murray

Diedre Murray is an American cellist specializing in jazz, improvised music, and contemporary classical music. She is also active as a composer, producer, and curator. She lives in New York.

She has worked with the Henry Threadgill Sextet, Leroy Jenkins, James Brown, Muhal Richard Abrams, Archie Shepp, Fred Hopkins, Jason Kao Hwang, and Hannibal.
