That last edit was disgraceful - removing large amounts of relevant information about Hubbard's performance as Mayor of Auckland. I'm putting it back. I think someone got their nose out of joint about information on Wikipedia. Tough.

24/5/06 Again! It would appear that some joker thinks its ok to remove 95% of the entry! If there's anything factually incorrect in the post, would you please provide citations and we can remove the offending item?

24/6/06 I removed the non-compliant status as while someone wishes to dispute the neutrality of the overall article, they haven't submitted any reasons or citations for such a move. Could I also suggest that an anonymous poster who doesn't log in or register is not likely to be taken seriously when making updates or disputing articles?

25/7/06 I'm surprised that the article is seen to be less than neutral. There are citations for the events and facts in the post. Perhaps if you could suggest what it is that is seen to be less than neutral, that would be helpful. --Auckland101

28/7/06 Well, I'm not your editer, but I think that, while everything here can be substantiated, some positive opinions of Hubbard's performance might be included. I'm sure there are some out there. I can't speak for the anonymous editor, but I think the beef is likely to be not so much that you're giving out unsubstantiated information as that the overall tone only goes in one direction.

30/7/06 I'll add info about gay community plus beef up the urban design, since those are two positives in his term thus far.--Auckland101

2/8/06 Changed some parts to make it easier to read, everyone okwith that? Barzini

[edit] Informal tone tagging

Informal tone tagging because the article sounds like a satrical article (e.g. "socially responsible", and weasel words like "the public thinks ...") Anyone, any suggestions? --inky 10:22, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

To be fair, Dick Hubbard is the member and founder of a group called "New Zealand Businesses for Social Responsibility". I think that's a fair enough description.

I have removed the informal tone tag because the article sounds more like an encyclopedia article now. However, there are still some more things to add:

  • Please add more positive aspects of his term as a mayor. Currently critisms filled the whole page.
  • Consider using other source rather than only New Zealand Herald.

Great job done on the article! --inky 23:19, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

- have removed stuff about speculative mayoral contenders. No one has yet been confirmed. As for adding more positive stuff, that's more in the hands of Mayor Hubbard , I don't have much to work with!Barzini 10:34, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
