Talk:Dick Ebersol
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Someone wrote that Dick Ebersol and his wife have five children. Did they have five children before the son died in the plane crash, or do they have five children now? I just think that should be cleared up. Thanks.
To the editors of Wikipedia.
Dear friends, I could find no place to send this. could you please pass it along to Dick & Susan Ebersol and family? Please give my sincerest blessing to Dick, Susan and family, in this time of great sorrow. There is no pain worse than the pain of losing a child. My wife and I have suffered this loss and know. Rejoice and celebrate all that Teddy brought you, and accept the love of your friends. You WILL get through this. Sincerely, Michael R. Landers nightlifemusicco@netzero.net

[edit] Olympic Style
There is a section in the article which reads:
He is noted for developing a heavily debated and often criticized style of reporting the Olympics, which under NBC now focuses more on the human interest side of US athletes than on real live reporting of the competitions themselves that are often interrupted by commercial breaks.
I believe he does this since it is similar to Roone Arledge's approach when ABC aired the Olympics, given that he learned from Arledge. So I think you can really blame Arledge for this Olympic approach, since he's only following his style. I was too young to remember when ABC had the Olympics, but I think they did the same exact thing back then. Can anyone clarify this? ErikNY 04:20, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
