Dick Glasser

Richard Eugene "Dick" Glasser (also known as Dick Lory) (December 8, 1933 [some sources say 1936]-July 10, 2000) was a singer, songwriter, and record producer.
He was born in Canton, Ohio (some sources give Virginia).
His biggest hit as a songwriter was "Angels in the Sky," originally recorded by Tony Martin in 1954, but a hit for The Crew-Cuts the following year.
Among artists who recorded his songs were Chet Atkins, Walter Brennan, Glen Campbell, Buddy Greco, The Kingston Trio, and Bobby Vee.
Among the artists whose recordings he produced were Vic Dana, The Everly Brothers, Gary Puckett And The Union Gap, and The Ventures, others.
He was a general manager of Dolton Records, an A&R director for Warner Bros. Records, and started Richbare Music.
He died of lung cancer.
