Dick Donovan (baseball player)

Richard Edward ("Dick") Donovan (b. December 7, 1927, Boston, Massachusetts - d. January 6, 1997, Weymouth, Massachusetts) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Braves (1950-1952), Detroit Tigers (1954), Chicago White Sox (1955-1960), Washington Senators (1961) and Cleveland Indians (1962-1965).
Donovan batted left handed and threw right handed. In a 15-season career, Donovan posted a 122-99 record with 880 strikeouts and a 3.67 ERA in 2017-1/3 innings pitched.
