Richard "Dick" Beals (born March 16, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American voice actor. He has performed many voices in his career, which spans from the early 1950s into the 21st century.
Two of his voices were the characters "Yank" and "Dan" of the "American Eagles" troupe in the mid-1960s cartoon series Roger Ramjet, as well as Arthur Spacely on The Jetsons.
He also voiced the famous claymation character Gumby for awhile in 1957. From 1960 to 1964, Dick played the voice of Davey Hansen on Davey and Goliath. He did not do any voices for that series after 1965, when Norma McMillan replaced him as Davey Hansen.
Perhaps his most recognizable characterization was the voice of the stop-motion animation figure called "Speedy Alka-Seltzer", featured in TV ads for many years.
He then spoke as the voices of Buzz Conroy, the boy scientist on Frankenstein, Jr. and The Impossibles, and Richie Rich's naughty cousin, Reggie Van Dough on Richie Rich.
