Talk:Diana Žiliūtė
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Corrected birthdate: the correct birthdate is May 28, 1976, not May 30, 1976. For all such riders as Diana Ziliute, their UCI licenses contain their birthdates and yea of birth. The license ID can be found on any rankings list in the appropriate section of the UCI web site.

The following section and result should be added to the Diana Ziliute article.
[edit] 2004 Highlights
- Giro d'Italia Femminile (2.9.1) - 7th place, 2 stage victories
The contents of the rest of the Diana Ziliute article have been proofread and verified against a true and correct version so as to ensure that no errors crept in to corrupt the data during the recent spate of vandalism. (There is a typo in the 2nd paragraph - Ponts instead of Points. There is also a minor typo in one of the results listings - jerseys instead of jersey - whch can be fixed later).
The recent results from UCI events can be found at www.uci.ch>Results and Rankings>Results (Road)>2004>Women Elite. For results for this rider for the years 2000 and before, her official web site (in Italian and referenced at the bottom of the article) has a very complete listing. For 2001-2003, results have been obtained from official sources such as the UCI web site, but also from official race results as reported on the official race web sites for the various referenced races.
In general, for the Palmares data for women cycle racers, I posted results for 2003 and before, with the intention of bringing them up to date, where necessary, for the 2004 data later on. In some cases, the results also need to have added to them the end-of-year placement on the UCI Points list. This can be done later.
I will be posting a number of similar articles on the top women cycle racers in the world. Most will be accompanied by photos. Sources of the information will be discussed on my User page which I will create in the next few days. This should avoid undo repetition of information.

[edit] Unprotecting
This article was protected Friday to deal with a persistent vandal. I'm unprotecting now to see how persistent it is or (hopefully) was. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 20:45, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
