Diane Dodds is a Councillor in West Belfast for the Democratic Unionist Party.
She is the wife of the DUP Member of British Parliament, Nigel Dodds who represents North Belfast.
She was first elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly in 2003, and subsequently stood in the 2005 General Election in the same constituency coming third behind Gerry Adams [1]. She lost her Assembly seat in the 2007 elections.
She is also a Democratic Unionist Party councillor on Belfast City Council for the Court area.
