Diane Bish

The Kansas born organist and composer Diane Bish is an internationally known artist. She is well known for her innovative television series The Joy of Music. She has recorded some 400 television episodes in her PBS series The Joy of Music on many of the world's most significant pipe organs.

Ms. Bish graduated from Wichita High School East in 1959. She had played on the 1925 Austin Organ installed in the school auditorium.[1]

Diane Bish was a student of Dorothy Addy, Mildred Andrews, Nadia Boulanger, Gustav Leonhardt, and Marie-Claire Alain.

In addition, she served as organist to Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she designed the large 117 rank Ruffatti organ that currently graces the sanctuary.
