Diana Joseph Foad Haddad (Arabic:ديانا جوزيف فؤاد حداد) (born on October 1, 1976 in Bsalim, Lebanon), known as Diana Haddad, is one of the most popular and successful singers in the Arab world.

[edit] Early life
Diana was born to a Maronite Christian family in a small village called Bsalim in Southern Lebanon on October 1, 1976. Her talent was discovered at an early age when she won the televised talent show, Studio el Fan. Diana Haddad is the 3rd born between 2 older brothers and one younger brother & sister . Diana was raised in Kuwait and educated at the "Al Feheheel National School."
Diana was only 16 when she started working on her debut album. The album took three years to prepare since Diana was also working on her high school degree followed by her associate degree in Computer Science. During this time Diana met the Emirati TV director Suhail Al-Abdool. They got married in 1995 and created a dynamic duo. Diana & Suhail have one daughter, Sofy, born in July 1997. She converted to Islam after she got married. Diana has many records but not close in popularity to many other female Arabic singers as Samira Saeed, Asalah Nasri, Elissa and Najwa Karam.

Saken (1996)
In 1996, and after three years of hard work, Diana Haddad released her debut album, " Saken ". The album instantly became a major hit all over the Arab World. The songs "Lagetik", "El-Sahra", and the title track "Saken" were released almost simultaneously and all became major hits.
Now that the first album was a major success . This album was the best album in the Arab world. And has won many awards in Egypt and Lebanon and Gulf. And album contains six songs : 1- Saken : This song made people know the identity of Diana Haddad and the public loved it . the video clip was very Contemporary . 2- Al Sahra . 3- Lagaitek . 4- Tayr Al Yamama : This song was the first song composed especially for Diana Haddad . 5- Sahowat Manam .. The sixth song in the CD was a remix for the hit Lagaitek . Lagaitek is a song for the Lebanese singer " Essam Rajje " who died in 2002. the album won a Platunuim Award for the sales .
Ahl El Eshig (1997)
Diana's second album " Ahel El-Eshig ", which was released on February 1997, continued along the lines established by her debut album.
The album was yet another hit for Diana, especially the title song. By that time, Diana had truly established herself as a top selling Lebanese singer, but even greater things lay ahead. This album made Diana Haddad more famous. And became Diana Haddad show much on television programmes.
Ahl Al Eshig the most popular song in the album . the CD includes 6 songs just like the first album saken : Ahl al Ehig ( the head one ) The song won many awards and continues to offer so far in the Arab countries, particularly Suhail's channels : Nojoom TV , Bizal mennak : This song has been portrayed in London . Ya Sameain al soot , Anieda , Welfi Jafani and Tafah al kil . This album made Diana Haddad more popular . And Diana Haddad has participated in many concerts such as : Carthage , festivals in Egypt and Dubai
Ammanih (1998)
Diana's third album " Ammanih " was released in late 1997. The Ammaneh album was spectacular in every sense of the word, featuring different colors and different music genres Diana had never done before. The album sold millions of copies, not only in the middle east but also in Europe, the US, and throughout the rest of the world. The title track became Diana's signature song, to date her most popular work ever. Ammaneh, the album, remains one of the biggest selling albums ever in the Arab World. this song was happy luck for her . there are many hit songs like : Ya benty ( Hey my Daughter ) in the video clip of this song appeared Diana Haddad and her daughter Sophie . Dalawna is a Lebanese folklore . Ghaltatiti ( My mistake ) is a Successful song and the Arab public love it . Najmat Sahratna ( Star of our Soiree ) is a Lebanese folklore too . Sheikh al shabab ( Sheikh of youths ) gifted this song to her husband Suhail . Yelomoni is a Lebanese folklore song too . Rahallo ( Emigrated ) is a Lebanese sad song.
Yammaia (1999)
Yama Ya, Diana's fourth album, was released in late 1998. What is unique about Yama Ya is that each song on the album was sung in a different Arabic dialect: Original Arabic, Egyptian, Lebanese, and Gulfian. In " Yama Ya ", Diana touched on several topics, such as love, life and death, faith, and virtue.
Yammaia ( Hey my mother ) is an Egyptian song the lyrics is by Ryiadh al Hamshari. Ana AL Ensan is a Humanistic song Diana portrayed this song in 2006 because it fit what is happening in Lebanon . Emshi Wara Kidbohum is a greatest hit in this album compsed by the Egyptian Artist ( Essam Karika ) . Men Ghebt is the first saudi song by Diana Haddad.
Se De is a lovely song because it is an expressive lyric . Barria ( Innocence ) is not a hit but the public like it. Ana Beshhad lak is a Lebanese song . Saygeen Al Zaan is Diana's first Iraqi song and it Prevented in Kuwait.
Shater (1999)
In the summer of 1999, Diana released her fifth album, " Shater". Shater's music was mostly of modern pop, and showcased a joyful Diana enjoying the most simple things in life such as nature and the sun. Shater continued along the lines of " Ammaneh "; several collaborations and joyful music.
Includes the album there are seven nice songs : Abl Al gharam is an Egyptian song just like Emshi Wara Kidbuhom style because it composed by Essam Karika . Diana Sang this song in Pepsi Musica Program ( MBC TV 1999 ) .. Bagieah is a Lebanese song the public like because it was a new style . A celebration of life, "Shater" also had one sad song named "Weenhom", which Diana dedicated to her mother. Weenohom is a khaliji sad song .. in the CD there are a music track ( Shater ) . AL Fosol Al Arbaa ( the Four Seasons ) is a classic khaliji song composed by the saudi artist Asil Abu Baker Salem . Saaltek ( I asked you ) is a Lebanese joyful song . Enta El Jameel ( you are comelier ) is the last track it is even now modern .
Jarh AL-Habib (2000)
Expanding the horizons of her singing career, Diana released her sixth album, Jarh Al-Habib, in the summer of 2000. Jarh El-Habeeb featured great pop and classic cuts, ranging from slow-themed love song "Ba´ali Zaman" to the fast paced anthem "Mani Mani", to the Wade´e El-Safi tribute "Noor Enayeh" to the title track, which was a collaboration with (and a tribute to) the great musician Mohammed El-Ezabi. Jarh El-Habeeb established an image of an older, artistically mature Diana Haddad.
Jarh Al-Habib 2000 is the Vi album. Diana had cooperated in this album with the popular Egyptian singer Mohammad Al-Ezzabi in the hit track " Jarh Al-Habib" . Diana Haddad presented in this release her successful song Mane Mane, this song was directed by her husband . includes the album there are 9 pop songs : Qasi ( Cruel ) saudi Challenge song .. Mani Mani is the greatest hit in this album . it is a modern pop and joyful song .. Addla alik is a romantic khaliji song . Baqali Zaman is an Egyptian romantic song .. Akhbar Helwa (2001)
Akhbar Helwa is the 7th album , which did not succeed like her old albums , but she had Submitted the Successful song : Elli fee Bally. Diana’s 7th album “Akhbar Helwa” is an exceptional piece of art, it was released in July 2001 and contains 9 Hits such as (Elli Fi Balli, Akhbar Helwa, Ela Habibi and El Huwara) Summer of 2001 witnessed the release of Akhbar Helwa , Diana´s seventh album. The music on this album reached an edgier end, having distinct, rich music made it stand out and outperform then-new one hit wonders. Akhbar Helwa was the eight album in terms of her contract with Stallions (Aneeda counted as a release). Akhbar Helwa ( good news ) is a new music style composed by the Lebanese composer Samir Sufair and the lyrics is by the saudi poet : Saud Sharbatly . Qalbi lel Ejar ( My heart is for rent ) is a Lebanese song. the lyrics of this song is very fresh and it is the first time Arabian singer sang it . Elli fe Bali ( he is in Outworn ) is a new pop song the public like it . Ella Habibi is a romantic Egyptian song .. the lyrics of this song is by the Egyptian Poet ( Ayman Bahgat Amar ) who wrote the Arabian hit ( Ah Wo Nos ) By the Lebanese young singer Nancy Ajram . Remsh Eyonek ( Eyelash of your eye ) is an Emarati song and the lyrics of this song is by Anwar AL Moshiry . Taala ( come to me ) is a great song but the public Do not know it because it is a bonus track song in the CD .
Law Yesaloni (2002)
Diana Haddad had ventured because she recorded a full Gulfian album, but fully succeeded success especially her song " law yesalouni " with Aitha AL-Menhali .. So Law Yesalouni is the 8th album . Law Yesaloni, Diana´s 2002 album is the first themed Diana album; Diana has always released one or two Khaliji (Gulf Dialect) songs on her albums, but this was the first time for her to release a 100% Khaliji album. Indeed, it was a first a Lebanese artist releases a Khaliji album. Law Yesaloni was an instant hit in the Gulf and did great in other Arab countries as well. Again, Diana released only one video of the album, the title track "Law Yesaaloni".
Included the album 10 great songs : Ashwaq : a sudi song .. and This song would have been the main but replaced at the end of time . Awel Marrah (2004)
Ninth album was Awal marrah and is the outcome of the two-year long effort . Diana Haddad presented in this album 4 hit songs : Waily , Saheby , Awal marrah , Law ma dakhalt ebRassi . Diana´s next album, initially titled "Khaliny Saktah" and "Diana 2003", was supposed to be released in the summer of 2003. However, Diana was not satisfied with the overall product so she decided to record more songs and remove others, the thing which caused delays. The album is to be released early 2004, and will be named Awel Mara. Included the album there are 13 songs and it's the first time Diana sang 13 song in a CD Normally Diana's albums contain between 10 and 8 songs. Waily is the first hit in this album Diana Haddad appear in this video a basket Player .. the second hit is Saheby ( My friend ) this is a folklore Khaliji song .. third hit is the head Awal marrah ( the first time ) the song is a romantic pop song . Law Ma Dakhalt Brasi is the third hit . law ma dakhlt ebrasy is a Lebanese song , so the hits is Variegated between Lebanese , Khaliji , Egyptian , and Lahja Baitha.
Diana 2006 (2006)
The last album for Diana Haddad called : Diana 2006 . Diana collaborated with the Algerian singer Khaled and album contained nine songs. In this album Diana Haddad has succeeded in attracting the western listener Especially in the hit " Mas & louly ", with the Algerian world singer : Khaled .. Album contains nine variety songs of classic , romantic and folklore . Diana Haddad has portrayed two songs : Mas & louly and Aadi .. Zai Al Sukar ( Just like A Sugar ) is the greatst hit in this Album and it was the head but Diana named the album at end ( Diana 2006 ) Zai Al Sukar is a joyful lovely song . Wehlefly ( he swear to me ) is an Egyptian modern song . Azab Al Hawa is a Lebanese folklore song Just like ( Awaied Qadima ) song . Hasafah is the first hit in this album .. it's an Emarati song composed by Faiez Al Saeed . Aadi is the last hit by her .. Diana Tyre it with the Lebanese director ( Laila Kanaan ) Aadi is an Egyptian romantic song.
