Dial-a-Phone was founded in 1995 and is a leading UK mobile phone retailer. In 2005 Dial-a-Phone had an 8% market share of the UK contract mobile market, supplying around three million customers. Dial-a-Phone employs 800 staff, most based in the London headquarters at Highgate Road. Dial-a-Phone sponsored Middlesbrough FC through 2002-2004. Dial-a-Phone also runs a second mobile phone brand, Mobile Express. Dial-a-phone also provides mobile phone comparison service on www.simfone.co.uk along with other online retailers such as e2save.com
Dial-a-Phone is a direct response marketing specialist, targeting daily adverts on national newspapers, magazines, TV and Internet. The Dial-a-Phone website is a popular e-commerce site with around 1.5 million visitors a month.
The company manages an affiliate scheme through European agency Tradedoubler.
