[edit] Move from Kenya

This article repeats something I heard from the BBC which stretches belief - that he was born in India, then his family had to flee Kenya for the UK when he was only one year old. This means that they can't have been in Kenya for very long! Are we all completely sure that the BBC didn't just mean he was born into a Hindu/Indian background in Kenya? Not improbable. It wasn't unheard of for women to return to their native place to give birth. My grandma travelled from St. Petersburg to Belarus to have my mom - not extraordinary. - crz crztalk 00:38, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

However, the distance between St. Petersburg and Belarus is rather less than that between Kenya and India. How many British ex-pats in New Zealand head back to the UK to give birth? It would not be very eco-friendly if they did! Milvinder 21:53, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

If it is correct, I think the writing needs improvement. I did a quick search but didn't find much about Dhiren Barot's past. Brian Pearson 00:53, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
