Dherai is spelled as Derai or Dehrai a village of about 10,000 people in the North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan. It is near the River Swat and one mile from the Swat Saidu Sharif airport.

The majority of the people are farmers, though the village does include schools and hospitals which employ a portion of the population. saidu group of teaching hospital swat is one of the largest hospital of malakand Division.Most of the people are working in the hospital on different posts.

Dherai is located near the green hills and on the bank of river swat pakistan.

It is believed that Alexeder the great came through this area and stayed at Dherai/Derai for two days.
