[edit] Blanking Pages
Please do not blank pages that relate to featured article and good article candidatures. Not only is this a blatant violation of Wikipedia policy, but it also degrades the effort that many editors have put in to help you improve the article you nominated. --mdmanser 02:14, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your message to me
I don't understand what you're talking about? And could you please add new message at the end? If it's difficult for you, you can just click + sign besides the "edit this page" tab to automatically add new section at the end of a talk page. — Indon (reply) — 18:35, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, if you refer to Hastings, Ontario's second GA failed, please take a look at its talk page. I didn't delist it from WP:GAC. Someone else's did. However, I see that you didn't fix the article based on my reviews. If you disagree about my reviews, then you can always submit it into WP:GA/R. Cheers. — Indon (reply) — 18:41, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Hastings, ON
I'm incredibly glad that you're so devoted to making this article as good as it can be. Wikipedia could use many, many more dedicated editors such as yourself, and you're doing a great job on the Hastings article. You should definitely keep working, and take some time off before renominating it to be a Good Article; eventually, I'm quite sure it will get there. -- Kicking222 06:20, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Please include 20th centuary history. The media section is too small. Articles should not have stub sections, and things like "Trent Hills has a population of 12,569" need to be sourced. -- Selmo (talk) 00:15, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, your first FAC run isn't going perfectly, but I wanted to commend you again for doing a great job on the Hastings article. Assuming it does hit FA status some day, I hope you'll pick another article to do such a thorough job on. -- Kicking222 05:20, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- While I'm not such a fan of the repeated GA nominations, I will absolutely give you credit for constantly searching for consensus and trying to get other editors' opinions on the article. WP certainly needs more contributors with both the passion to create better articles and a sense of community. -- Kicking222 20:34, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hello, Dhastings, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page New York Islanders have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV), and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
