Dhamasa

Dhamasa is a small town situated in southern Somalia in the Gedo region. It has an estimated population of 27,000 residents. It is known for its cool weather and its multiple ponds and lakes. It was founded in the early 1950s by Somali nomads from the region. Dhamasa neighbors BaledHawo, Baardheere, and Ceelwaaq.
