The DFX Audio Enhancer is a plug-in created for multiple audio players, it is designed to enhance the sound of an audio file. The plug-in was created by Power Technology. The first version of DFX supported RealPlayer and Winamp. Later support was added for MusicMatch Jukebox, Windows Media Player, Sonique and J.River Media Jukebox.

DFX offers the ability to apply or "enhance" 5 different effects. They are:
- 3D Surround Sound- Gives the effect of 3d surround with only 2 speakers.
- Fidelity- Enhances clarity.
- Dynamic Boost- Amplifies sound and reduces distortion.
- Hyper Bass- Amplifies Bass.
- Ambience- Adds depth.
The plug-in also comes with built-in and custom presets, optimization for headphones or speakers, 2 different music processing modes and one speech mode, a spectrum analyzer. It is also fully skinnable, skins can be downloaded from the DFX website or created using a standard image editor.
