From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The article Minority Funk has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 22:51, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as Minority Funk, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Also, don't blank warnings on your talk page. NawlinWiki 16:02, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm not trying to be mean, just consistent. If we let everyone have an article on their local unsigned band, this would no longer be a useful encyclopedia. It would be MySpace. NawlinWiki 20:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] my article

Sorry i didn't mean to start false appologies it was an accident and i didn't know what i was doing, or how to delete it. Sorry again.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dflav1138 (talkcontribs).

No worries, I could tell it was probably just a "test" article and not done with any intent to vandalise or anything. We were all Wikibeginners at some point! Remember, if you need any guidance on how to edit Wikipedia, leave another message on my talk page, or add the "{{helpme}}" (without the quotes) to your own talk page and someone will answer any questions you may have. Oh, and don't forget to sign your comments on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~) after the comment so people can easily tell who wrote it. ~Matticus TC 22:00, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
