Johann Dewald Nel (born 6 June 1980 in Klerksdorp, South Africa) usually known by his middle name as Dewald Nel is a Scottish cricket player. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
He has played 43 times for the Scottish cricket team, his début coming in a totesport league match against Durham on 6 June 2004. He has played in two one-day internationals for Scotland, his first match at that level coming against Pakistan on 27 June 2006.
