[edit] David Koresh spurious edits
Thank you for your interest in the David Koresh article that I have been referencing. However, I must request that you don't remove referenced statements just because you don't like them. Also, your addition of the asertion "However, both her mother and grandmother believed Jewell was a liar and had completely invented the incident to gain attention" was itself not referenced, and -- bearing in mind the high moral tone you adopted with your rather smug edit summary comment "nope. No evidence/proof. Try again" -- quite a surprise to me, as Kiri Jewell's mother was one of the unfortunates who perished in the blaze at the end of the siege. Should you require "evidence/proof"
her autopsy report confirms this. Please check your facts in future, particularly when criticising other editors Devious Viper 21:44, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- If I removed it, it was either spurious itself, or it was revealed as a lie in the various trials/hearings. I didn't see any of the trials themselves, personally, but I did follow all of the congressional hearings, which recapitulated a lot of the information that was revealed during the trial. And yes, had you bothered to watch the hearings yourself, you would have known that Jewell was "outted" both by her mother and grandmother for fabricating the supposed rape for attention.Ernham 21:49, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I would suggest you actually read articles before you remove sections of them, then. The section you edited was neither spurious nor revealed as a lie in subsequent hearings. it was also tagged with its citation. Furthermore, I reiterate Kiri Jewell's mother, Sherri, 43, died in the FBI assault at Mount Carmel. If you watched her "out" her daughter at the Congressional hearings, you watched a version that no other mortal has been privvy to. Also, if you are going to allege that the grandmother said something, please provide a citation. Devious Viper (talk • contribs)

- Yes, she died. And? People live before they die, if you weren't
aware. It's obvious at this point you've never seen the hearings and have no idea what you are talking about.Ernham 23:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- It seems you would rather edit war than check your facts, not the sign of someone with a NPOV.Ernham 23:34, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

As per the policy on verifiability:

I have removed the unsourced and potentially libelous material regarding Kiri Jewell and her mother and grandmother. As we seem unable to reach agreement about what constitutes verifiability for the article, I have also requested WP:3 Devious Viper 02:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] David Koresh
It looks like the dispute is resolved (at least for now). I haven't done an in depth study of Koresh (and don't desire to, right now), but I'm very interested in seeing such type of articles have a higher quality than most on Wikipedia currently do, so please alert me if there are any more disputes/concerns (no matter how minor) concerning the Koresh related articles. Thanks. RB972 03:25, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:RAMC.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
