Devon Anderson

Devon Carlo Anderson[1] is a English actor, (born on 4 April 1987 in Greenwich, London, England). He has been acting since an early age and became a CBBC presenter on BBC One and the CBBC Channel. Anderson is best known for his roles as Taj Lewis in the CBBC sitcom Kerching and Sonny Valentine in Channel 4's Hollyoaks. Kerching has so far run for more than four seasons and has been repeated many times.

Devon began his "acting" career, when he performed the role three year old Glenn in Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould. Devon's next acting job was in the BBC soap EastEnders where he played the character Billy Jackson from 1993 to 1997.

Devon's next role was in Spiceworld as Jack in 1997. Spiceworld was a musical comedy about the British pop band the Spice Girls. His next role was in The Greatest Store in the World where he played the character David. This was a story aired at Christmas, where a homeless family ended up living in a shopping centre. They eventually caught a professional robber and saved the store from losing money.

In 2002, Anderson appeared in the film Thunderpants playing the character of Dan. Hes next role was in 2002's CBBC Ace Lightning where he played Pete, the English friend of the main character, Mark. The character appeared in Internet talks with Mark at the start of the program or sometimes at the end.

In 2003, Anderson starred as the lead character in the CBBC sitcom Kerching, Taj Lewis, an Internet wizkid who was trying to make a million pounds for his single mum.

In 2006, he began the role of Sonny Valentine in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. On January 6, 2007, Anderson made an appearance on the television show TMI.

His acting style be best described as shouting and looking surprised/confused all the time.

After the third series of Kerching, Devon Anderson had become hugely popular with the CBBC viewers and became a CBBC presenter. He presented on both BBC 1 CBBC show, as well as on the CBBC Channel.
