BhadraKali Temple

It is an ancient temple situated on the Jhansa Road in the north of Thanesar Town. Here Pandavas are stated to have worshipped the Goddess and performed sacrifices for their victory before the commencement of Mahabharat war. This is one of the 51 Shakti Peetha which had their origin from the scattered parts of the body of Sati. It is said that the right foot ankle of Devi Sati fell here.
