DEViANCE
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
DEViANCE was an underground cracking group formed on 1 January 1999 that released cracked, full-version PC game ISOs to the Scene, via affiliated Topsites. The group was composed by CyberNaj, THE TM Leader.
DEViANCE was known for cracking and releasing notable software titles hours before retail release. A noteworthy example is Unreal Tournament 2004, released 24 hours before Atari's official release date of 16 March 2004.
DEViANCE also created and released cracks, cracked updates, trainers, and keygens (collectively referred to as DOX).

[edit] Shutting Down
Recently, on the 25th of December, 2006 DEViANCE have decided to shut down all their activates. According to CyberNaj, the Team Leader, there are many reasons for this. Some include, not enough motivated members and internal and external wars. A quote from their website states, "...and allot of people who spend more time in writing articles in forums instead to get something done, forces me to make this decision to protect the name and the honour some of our productions earned in the past."
CyberNaj also states that for Personal reasons, he wasn't able to handle the organisation for the last eight months.
However, DEViANCE have said that if anyone wishes to take over the group, and rebuild it, then DEViANCE may still be running, but under a different owner.
