[edit] Introduction
Oule, Ave and Hello. The Hellenic nomenclature I possess is Deucalionite. Yes, I am well aware of the fact that I have a Greek bias (face it, everyone has a bias). However, I emphasize the importance of honesty so as to ensure that the articles I write are both informative and historically accurate (I try my best). Remember, "a strong stomach makes truth better than objectivity." I have been on Wikipedia since April 2005 even though at the time, I was just an IP address. One of my professions entails providing sociological analyses of historical events (especially when it comes to Greek history). No, I am not "eccentric" as some users falsely assume. In fact, I think and act in an "unconventionally conventional" and "conventionally unconventional" fashion. I dare anyone to try saying that five times fast (a real tongue-twister). All in all, I have a dualistic mentality and am well aware of its merits and disadvantages (if there are any).
Remember, any questionable/dubious statements or actions on my part are solely for social experimentation purposes (i.e. studying various user-to-user behavior dynamics, facets of the inhibition effect, HCI dynamics, etc.). This is not an excuse, even though I'd be flattered if people thought that way. If anything, what I do and say is under the aegis of "academic business in progress." If you are new to Wikipedia, then always remember that certain users are sociologically blind whereby they believe that language perfectly reflects a person's ethnic, cultural, and religious background. As a Greek who speaks both English and Greek, I find this blindness to be quite offensive.
Thus far, I have lost eight articles (I know, "cry me a river"). Philippos Chatzaridis, Evangelos Spandagos, Ashis Nandy (reclaimed), Elias Tsatsomoiros, Ian Mitroff (reclaimed), Joseph E. Yahuda, Christos Sariannidis and Peng Yoke Ho no longer exist. These articles are considered "non-notable" because Wikipedia only cares about people of glitter and glamor (i.e. not enough "Google hits" if you know what I mean). People are not defined based on notability irrespective of their contributions being positive or negative. Knowledge, in general, should never be judged solely on notability since the concepts of "mainstream" and "fringe" are fluid and ever-changing. Concepts, specifically, can only exhibit dynamics of absolution if they are supported by both compelling and conclusive evidence (not an easy task I can assure you). I find the slogan "Free the Knowledge of the World" as a hypocritical piece of false advertising.
Along with the aforementioned articles, I also lost my "coat-of-arms" that used to be on the above right-hand corner of this page. I'll spare you the details. I sort of expect by the year 2010 (or even earlier) to be permanently banned from Wikipedia. Hopefully by then, all of my experiments will be complete. If not, then I could always extend the date. Something to look forward to. The new articles shown on this page are meant to fill in Wikipedia's "information gaps," as well as fulfill the parameters of my social experiments. You like them? Great. You hate them? Spare me your speech of self-righteous proportions or get an administrator to ban me since that is usually my "fate." Have a nice day or a terrible one if that is your personal preference.
