[edit] Proper toponyms

For instance, the city of Novo mesto is not properly designated on the map. --XJamRastafire 21:11, 30 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] I listed the image for IfD

We need to have this image confirmed as PD, GFDL, or get a permission. There is no chance in * that we can use a map as fair use. ✏ Sverdrup 20:39, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

It seems like while the map is not directly from CIA, it is freely distributable. I didn't do enough research and listed it on basis of the fair use message, which is quite a different thing than public domain ✏ Sverdrup 20:52, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I did a lot of research, and this image is in the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection; and public domain. Read even more about it at [3] ✏ Sverdrup 12:20, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Great, thank you! --Romanm 22:16, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)
