"permission" isn't enough. They need to release it under the GFDL. Please copy their correspondence to that effect here. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 22:05, August 12, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

I've done some cleanup work to make the article sound less like the marketing blab that it obviously was. I'll leave it up to someone else to review it and decide if the "cleanup" and "advert" flags can be removed.

[edit] Contradiction

How can it be a US based company if it's located in Ontario (Canada) ?! Thanx 68.39.174.238 03:36, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

To be precise, it doesn't actually say it's a US based company; it says that it's a "US corporation". Someone else would need to confirm that this is legally possible, but it seems plausible that the company could have filed for incorporation in the US while being based in Canada.

While many of Desire2Learn's clients exist in the USA, Desire2Learn is a 100% Canadian company incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada - Desire2Learn Inc.
