Destroy Erase Improve is the second album by Swedish tech metal band Meshuggah.

It is generally considered by fans and critics alike to be a significant creative achievement and is regarded as one of the most influential metal albums of the '90s.

Destroy Erase Improve was groundbreaking in its use of polyrhythm and off-time thrash beats, and established these elements as instantly recognizable trademarks of Meshuggah's music. Some jazz fusion elements are present in some songs such as Future Breed Machine, Acrid Placidity, and Sublevels.

The track Future Breed Machine is often used as a closer to their live performances.
