Destination Disaster is an Australian documentary show about well-known air crashes. Season 1 premiered in January 2002, with three successful follow-up seasons. The pilot episode, The Falling Star, was an immediate hit. (About the crash of BOAC Flight 781.)

The show was so popular that it had three spin-off's ("Down in the Deep" about Ship Wrecks, "Off the Rails" about Train Wrecks and "All Fall's Down" about Structural Failures) The show also had several spin-off books, Desination Disaster Season 1: Volume 1 and 2, Destination Disaster Season 2: Volume 1 and 2, Destination Disaster Season 3: Volume 1 and 2, and Destination Disaster Season 4: Volume 1 and 2, all of which detailed in-depth features on all the air crashes featured in the show with screenshots and even cockpit voice recording transcripts.
