Despite endering much emotional and pysical torture, Max refuses to break. But when Manticore targets Logan, she must plan an escape from manticore with the help of her "breeding" partner, Alec, and a newly befriended human canine experimental transhuman creature named Joshua.

- The facility used as the Gilette Manticore base is Riverview Medical Center, a psychiatric hospital in Coquitlam, Canada. It is a frequent site used for filming and has been seen in other Vancouver based productions such as The X-Files, The Butterfly Effect, Smallville, and Supernatural. The building used is the Crease Building and it has been deemed unlivable since the '80s but is still used for filming today.
