Desi Slava (Cyrillic: Деси Слава), born July 3, 1979, in Radnevo, near Plovdiv, is a Bulgarian singer of pop-folk or chalga and R&B.

Desi Slava's real name is Desislava Ivanova. Her name is derived from the Slavic elements desi, possibly meaning "ten", and slav "glory" [1]
She released her first album in 1998: "Niamam problemi"(I Don't Have Any Problems). Her voice foreboded a promising future full of success. She then won the "Golden Mustang" award for her song "Zaklevam te". Desi's second album makes her one of the best singers with hits such as "Mazhete vsichko iskat"(Men Want Everything), "Ezi-Tura" etc. After this album, she releases one of the best Bulgarian songs so far "Beli noshti"(White nights).
The succes was continued by the third album "Zavinagi" (Forever) with the same titled song and "Sledi ot sylzi"(Signs of tears). Her forth album "Misteriq" (Mistery) is released in 2002 and is full of future hits - "Dve sarca" (Two Hearts), "Ptica skitnica" (Bird-wanderer), "Mistery". After a year away from the media spotlight she returns with her best album so far "Liubovta e samo chuvstvo" (Love is just a feeling) - that is the best-selling album of 2004 in Bulgaria. "Nqma te do men" (You're not next to me), "Laja" (Lie), "Badi dobro momche" (Be a good boy), "Prosto zabravi" (Just forget) become the greatest hits of 2004.
Desi Slava launched her duet with Azis in 2004 with an album called "Together" - "Jaduvam" (I desire) is the name of the highly-praised song with an iconoclast video. In 2005 the album "Goreshta sleda" (Hot Sign) is launched with the provocative song "Ne si mi speshen" (You are not urgent for me). This song is followed by Desi's second duet with Azis "Kazvash, che me obichash" (You say that you love me), "I Had A Dream Of You" , "Something More" and the summer hit "Nevazmojno e da sprem"(It's impossible for us to stop)
In 2006 she released her duet with Toni Storaro "Zamylchi"(Don't Speak) which became a major hit among the pop folk fans. On 16th October she released her future hit with provocative video "Shemata" (The Scheme).Then in December she released the highly anticipated album "Sladki synishta" (Sweet Dreams) - a mixture of pop-folk, rnb, pop, rock and latino. The first single of the album was "Nqkoi den" (Someday) followed by "No soy tai mujer".
